i once saw on the travel channel that drugs like pot and cocaine in africa were drug that seem ok. for africans doing those kind of drugs are ok. in the usa people only drink and smoke cigaretter and "we" condiser those other drugs like pot and cocaine are addictives. africans think that what we do here in the usa is wrong.

is this true. if somebody knows a better answer or some facts on my question i would really apreciated. thanks :)

why cant there be a white scholarship or a white sheriff's association, every other nationality has their organization, but if whites try it we are considered racist. there isn't any equality in the US. if you are minority or female there is affirmative action, everyone is always talking about minorities coaching, but when asked why there aren't many whites playing baseball they say they aren't as talented, well the same could be said for coaching.

How many three digit numbers can be made up from the digits 1 to 5 if: a) no repetition is allowed and the number must be greater than 500? b) repetition is allowed and the number must be less than 300?.


For part a, I got 12, because 1*4*3 = 12, but the answer is 24.

Part b, the answer is 1250.


Please explain your answers.

I have a 3 year old chocolate lab that I would like to use for breeding . He is getting very frustrated and castration I think is cruel but will be a last resort to rid him of his frustration. I went for a blood test yesterday to find out if I am pregnant. Today I called my Dr to check the results and she said that the results are still pending because they are checking the HCG level. Fossil fuel supplies are being depleted ! Maybe we have global warming and maybe not. My kids Grandma has just left me a voice message stating that she's going to see a solicitor for visitation rights. My children are 8 and 9 years and we don't want her in our lives for various reasons, she is a loose woman, selfish, greedy, lazy and manipulative. The children are better off without her as her morals and standards pretty much don't exist. We are in the UK, what rights could she have, I've looked around on-line and there are organizations but I want to know the legal stance. Any advice please?

Here is a riddle for you brainiacs. My light-bulb went off and I've found myself in a chaos! 5 points and a pat on the back for the one who can save me.

If absence of light is darkness, then what is the absence of darkness? Light? Nothing? Darkness again? All? None?
Going outside the literal meaning of words; if the lack of light is lack of light; is lack of lack of it, is or isn’t something? Here are few possibilities I've thought of, none of it answers.

If darkness doesn’t exist and is ‘’nothing’’, then what about the ''possibility'' of the light? if the possibility of light would alter nothingness, if we can simply make darkness disappear, how can it be nothing? How can we make ‘’nothing’’ disappear? Isn't nothing already nothing? So then darkness is not ''nothing'' but it's a ''possibility'', a possibility of light. And since we can't create or disappear, then we can not consider darkness as nothing either.

What happened yesterday is a terrible tragedy. 33 lives were lost. As horrible and sad as it is, why aren't people as upset about the Americans who have died in Iraq? I understand they are military, they signed up for it, etc. Considering that it's not unusual to have 33 Americans die in one week, doesn't it seem like more people would have the same empathy for the families of our troops? Families of this tragedy and the tragedy in Iraq will never be the same.

A long time ago I remember a friend using a bottle to feed cereal to her infant. The bottom of the bottle was a flat disc that moved with the flow of the cereal, staying flat against the cereal so air couldn't seep in. Does anyone remember this or know of where to get one?

I have to do some chemistry homework, and I'm stuck on one question:

"Describe, with diagrams, how the particles are held together in a molecule of bromide (Br2)"

I'm not sure if it's an ionic bond or a covalent bond.

Also, how many electrons are there in the outer shell? Is it 7? How do you work out how many electorons there are without looking at the periodic table. We got told that the 1st shell has 2 electorns, and that the rest each have 8. But that doesn't seem to be the case with the diagrams that I found on the net.
