I have some cancer in family history also and just turned 40 but ive been getting checked for this since about 35.
Never hurts to start a bit early.

They say forty but with a history i would start at age 30 or call and ask your doctor for sure. Due to the fact there a history of cancer in your family. It would be better to safe then sorry.

That is a good question to ask YOUR doctor who is qualified, trained, and licensed to give you medical advice. People on this site are not. God luck.
