Well it comes to me that almost every where you have to be married to adopt... Is there anyway you can adopt w/o being married cuz me and my boyfriend have been together for 15 years and have one daughter who is 13 and she tends to get bored and she want a younger sibling to entertain but every where we look adoption is like 30,000$ or you have to be married.. Is there any where where we can adopt that we dont have to be married and we dont have to pay thousands of dollars or is that gonna be something that isn't gonna happen?

Jesus was all cool with women. He first revealed Himself to women after he was brought back, he had women in his group, he taught women, and so forth.

Then God came along and screwed everyone over.

Isn't there a difference?

I know my theology is poorly worded.

Why is it written into the American Constitution that people can carry guns? And why hasn't it ever been this way in the UK? Was America just a too lawless country by the time proper government came to power?

I am about 50-60lbs over weight. I have decided to start an exercise regiman but am concerned about how often I should exercise. I want to lose the fat, flab, and look long, lean and tone. I was told that if I exercise everyday that I will build muscle and look bulky, which is the opposite of what I want to achieve. What worked for you?

I have a Honda Accord EX V6 - 2001. Started a couple of weeks ago, the maintenance required light would flash while I am driving. When the light flashes for couple seconds, all the meters on the Dashboard (i.e. Gas, Speedometer, etc) would drop to zero. This is happening frequently.

I took my car to the dealer and dealer does not know what would cause the problem and want to charge $200 to run tests.

Has anyone experienced this problem?

Thanks!

I just posted a question about an hour ago asking why Liberarals still live here. I clearly stated that I don't mind that they live here inferring they have every right to be here that I do. I made no inferance to them not being allowed to share their viewpoint or dissagree with the government. There are plenty of things I don't agree on.... yes, even with Bush. Yet, like brainwashed little puppets they immediatley start shouting their little talking points as if I was trying to take that away from them. (that would be their party that does stuff like that, i.e. Imus and the "fairness" doctrine). True, you have the right to express your oppinions and try to invoke change. This is just me though, I typically don't tear my country down and give comfort to our enemies in the name of change. I do it at the ballot box and with legitimate debate. Never in wartime, agreed or disagreed, have I ever seen a party try to undermind this country like the Lib/Dems have.

I have run into this with two girlfriends, and I get mad as hell that they want to baptise the kid (if we "ever" had one). Maybe it's because they presented themselves as non-religious, then pulled this out, or I don't know. Just wondering if that's a common point of contention...?

My question is.....

Who out there does not see that an animal should not have surgery performed on it if it is not for their own benefit?

I don't need people coming back and telling me their declawed cat has lived a perfectly happy life after being declawed. I'm aware it happens. My question goes to the basic morality involved in altering an animal when there is NOTHING in it for them. Declawing is even less justifiable than tail docking and ear cropping - as least with these you can argue your saving them from problems with these later (I still don't agree with these procedures either though.

Please can I have some responses from people in favour of declawing - sticking to the moral side of the argument. I'm after making people think what it says about them to try to shape an animal for their convenience - especially when there's a fair chance the animal is not going to come out of the procedure unharmed.
