What do people who agree with one of these sites think of the other? Both are sites that seek to teach the creation in accordance with the Bible. However one (AiG) is "young earth" and argues that the Bible teaches us that the world is around 6,000 years old. The other has as "Today's new reason to believe" evidence that the universe is over 13.3 billion years old.

It would seem that we have three, completely incompatible, views:
1. Evolution
2. Answers in Genesis type creation
3. Reasons to Believe type creation

Now if you agree with, say, 2 do you think BOTH 1 and 3 are appaling heresies or do you have some way of "accomodating" one whilst still believing the other is "lies"

I've always like Economics and if I had wanted to go to college longer than 4 years I might have tried it. I became an accountant instead and really don't have any passion for it. Should I go back to get a Masters or PhD in Econ in order to teach or research?

How can you get rid of a (romantic) feeling, kinda like a connection you have with someone but you don't want to feel that way, maybe because you don't want to go down that road again for some time or maybe you want to enjoy your freedom for a while but the feeling and connection is still there?

I know this is major and you may ask why ask a bunch of strangers but I am in this situation where I ask anybody for help.So if you are able to please do so.

Here's the situation:
I have this friend I wanna break the friendship but she knows mainly all of my boy secrets. I gather I am safe because TurboTax's website says that if you are using direct debit then the payment is taken out until your return is accepted, I gather its the same for credit card payments. Further, I would hope that TurboTax would have taken this into consideration if the tax paid via this method was due then it would pay the currently estimated amount. Any insight?

What a simple thing it would be for an omnipotent deity to put a stop to the shootings that happened today.

How hard would it have been for god to give the shooter a heart attack, etc...

No doubt, some survivors will praise jesus for not being one of the fallen. And others will turn to religion because they can't make sense of the reality they have been placed into.

I bought a car from a guy, and I paid him cash. 2 days later, my transmission went out. And the guy didn't replace the windshield or mirror knob, both of which he said he would replace. He sells cars on a regular basis, but it's a completely under the table type of thing. And I heard that in the state of Missouri you can only sell 5 cars a year. So according to that, he's completely in the wrong. But I can't find anything that actually says that you can only sell 5 cars a year. If any of you guys could help me out with that it would be greatly appreciated! Because otherwise I'm out $1500+ for all of the repairs...

I've been on depo since Sept, & I had very little random spotting, and I always spotted around a week before the next shot to the week after I recived the shot. Now, out of nowhere I'm having a really heavy & painful period. The day after I started this period I got the first of 3 shots for Quardacil. I don't think that is realated. What is going on, is this normal?

Hi, recently in upstate new york there was alot of rain and snow. My school was closed today because of the bad roads, and I just found out that parts of our school is flooded. I was wondering, does anyone no if they can send us to school when parts of the hallways and classroms are flooded? Will they send us and jsut keep us away from that area? Or will we not go at all?

I have a friend who i really fell for but he was older than me and i knew my parents would totally veto that idea.. so we just talked about going out..
