Check firing order and wiring against a diagram. If it is correctly wired, then check the plugs. If they are correctly gapped, then start checking other things. I accidentally turned the pump too far when re-installing the distributor. I have the distributor turned so far off to get the timing in that someone just looking at it would think it wouldn't work. You could have things looking correct, but someone else could have it so far off that it's not funny.

you have the wires on incorrectly, go to the library and get a diagram of the firing order and reposition the wires on the correct terminals of the coil pack. the wires are hard to see in the back of the engine. did you gap the plugs? good luck.

The first thing to check is make sure you're getting spark

Pull coil wire off of distributer..place end near metal .

Turn motor over "use key" make sure spark is coming out if it replace to distributer..

Make sure that all wires click solid at each end

Did you change cap and rotor too..
Did you put rotor back in ..

I agree with guy who said plug wires likely wrong

Sounds like you might have crossed up wires when you changed them.
You might need a real mechanic to check that for you.
