First substract x to both sides of the equation:

A - x = x - x + prt

as you can see x - x = 0 So

A - x = prt

Now divide by pr, so we can clear t:

(A-x) / pr = (prt)/pr

pr/pr = 1 so

(A - x) / pr = t

If you want to solve for p then you must clear the variable p:

(A - x) / rt = p

Isolate t so a-x=prt (a-x)/pr=t

A = x + prt

A - x = x prt - x

A - x = prt

(A - x) / pr = prt / pr

(A - x) / pr = t
