Actually, J is correct in your first one. Germany did lose, France was on the winning side and there was no revolution in England, so I, K and L are incorrect. J is correct because even though the Russians withdrew from the conflict in 1917, it was World War I which caused the revolution.
The cost of the fighting depleted the treasury in Russia and a lot of bodies came back from the war. Some of the people rebelled because of that. So a result of the war WAS a revolution in Russia. They were in it and left because of the revolution which started because they were in it.
O. is the answer to the second one. The League of Nations was formed after WWI. President Wilson had the idea. It never really worked very well, because the US Senate failed to ratify it, which means that even though the US President started it, the US never joined it. It was pretty well DOA.

In I through L, none of the answers are correct.
Germany was not only defeated, but under the terms of the Versailles Treaty had to accept full responsibility for the war and pay heavy reparations to the victorious Allies.
The Russian Revolution happened in 1917, and effectively put Russia out of the war.
France was not defeated, nor was there a revolution in Great Britain.
The second question is O, the League of Nations--you might call this the forerunner of the United Nations.

For number one is L.A revolution in Great Britain. Germany lost the war and was compelled to sign the treaty of Versailles without further negotiation. Russian Revolution was a different event that happened throughout the war, so we couldn't literally distinguish the connection between the Revolution to the war. France was actually in the front seat and imposing Germany a severe amount of reparation and damages of the war which was inscribed in treaty of versailles and they also tried to ensure Germany to not ever starts the war again.
For number two it's obvious that the answer is O. League of Nations. It's useless and an absolute failure due to lack of power and action and was therefore replaced by United Nations after the end of World War II.
