Me and my best friend are in our late twenties and are yet to become mothers, but my sister is 6 months pregnant and her sister was also pregnant. But a few days ago her sister lost her baby at 13 weeks.

I feel just terrible for her and their family and in a small way feel slightly guilty for my beautiful niece that will be born in July. I cant imagine how they must be feeling as they found out at her first scan. Me and my best friend discussed for hours all our plans together with the new additions to our families, and the excitment of being aunties together.

I just feel terrible and am terrified to talk about my new niece or my sisters pregnancy infront of her now, im so excited its all we really spoke about. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to be there for my friend and show her how sorry i am and how much I care? Its such a delicate subject.

Every month I have to pay $300 dollars to the IRS for federal withholding. That's about $3600 a year. If I took that same money and put it in the bank I would aquire several hundred dollars in interest by April 15 of the next year when it is actually due to the IRS. When I deduct my withholdings from my taxes I think I should be also able to deduct interest for them using my money. Is this already possible? If not do you think it should be? If my taxes are late I have to pay interest.

i lent money to a friend and was paid back with a western union money order. i do not have a bank acct. where can i cash it? i was told to call Western union, but all they tell me is that some banks or agent locations can do it.. thats it.. anyone ever have this problem b4?

ok Iran shows that women soldier on tv then recieves a letter telling to withdraw all british troops from Iraq??? then today one of the guy british soldiers goes on Iran TV and tells everyone that the british were actually in Iranian waters. Tony Blair denies this claim. Do you think they will use these soldiers for bribes??? Do you think all this will esculate matters to go to war???

My boyfriend and I are cutting out most red meat and attempting to incorporate fish into our diets. The only problem is that I don't really care for fish (yet) and neither of us grew up eating it--so we don't have any great standby recipes to use. Anyone want to share some good fish recipes (mostly white fish like sole or bass)? Please--nothing deep-fried or breaded, as neither of us care for it. Thanks so very much!

I have several large plants that sustained some winter damage (ie:browning , frost-burnt foliage) but appear to be healthy, with lots of green growth, but on long, woody stems. These plants are literally 2-3 feet in diameter and have overgrown their space. Should I cut all the foliage off to get back to a digable root ball? If I do, will I lose this year's blooms? Or can I take the individual long stems, cut them off and re-plant them as they are? Please Help! Thanks!

If we are going to invade a country can we at least let it be for selfish reasons? Americans like big cars and long road trips. That requires a lot of gas. Iraq has gas and we need it. Plus we're sitting on a half trillion dollar military. Yes, yes. I know it's wrong but I'm a Democrat and I would support this war if we could turn Iraqi crude into good ole American gasoline. Cheap too. I have a big SUV and it's a guzzla. But hell. I am completely opposed to invasion of an oil rich country while gas creeps up to 3.25 per gallon. I say pull the troops out now if that's the case.

I decided to stand up for myself with my inlaws. BIG MISTAKE. Now everyone is mad at everyone and I don't know what to do. I am NOT sorry for what I said and now even more hateful, rude things have been said directed at me. All I told them was that I was pregnant and not broken and will make up my own mind. They are now trying to use my children as pawns in a screwed up game. I am also being told I stand between my husbands and his fathers relationship. We live across the street from him and hubby and him work at the same company. I don't understand. What would you suggest I do from here? How long would you take it before you just gave up? Thanks
