Ok so my boyfriend timing belt went out on his truck. He says it's going to take a month or two to fix it.

But for some reason, I don't believe him. It seems like he's just saying that so he doesn't have to be with me for awhile.

So how long does it normally take to fix a timing belt?
(his truck is a '93 s10)

I ve a big fore head...I want it to be looked small...

Since i m going to join in MNC(Infosys).... It is acceptable to have such haircuts....

My daughter who just turned 7 years old was outside yesterday playing with her friend "J" who is 6.
"J" took something that belonged to a mutual friend of their's and my child said she would tell "J"'s mom if she did not return the item.
"J" got mad and bit her very hard on her upper arm. My daughter then showed me what happened.

The picture makes it look milder than it really is. Now it all blue and red and my daughter's teacher thought she was bitten by a dog instead of a kid!
I cleaned it with soap and water and put antibacterial ointment on it. I checked that my child's tetanus shot was up to date and it is.
I went and told "J"'s mom what happened and showed her the arm. She wasn't that concerned, she didn't even punish "J". That made me mad!
Am I overreacting? What next..go to the dr.? Talk to "J"'s mom again? Thanks!

Is this not a pagan belief that one was loosing his soul via the sneeze and that saying "God bless you" would save your soul from escaping? If this is true, why do some Christans use this phrase and some become irrate if no one says it after they sneeze.

I was offered a new position with another company, the offer was made verbally and I was told that a hard copy would be in the mail. I gave authorization for a background check/credit check. I've already given notice to my current employer should I have waited for the actual offer letter to resign, or can the new company take the offer off the table. The new company gave me a projected start date and said they would confirm once the background check cleared. Did I jump the gun, I mean I don't have anything to worry about except for my credit not being that great.

2 days ago, I was in my backyard to allow my min pin "shorty" to do his bus. and when I went out I saw he had cornered this huge black bird. I assume it is a crow. However, I do not know who to call in order for some1 to pick up the bird up. I have the bird in a huge kennel) it appears that he had been injured (not by shorty) and that's how he ended up in my backyard. The bird it about the same size as my "shorty" He seems ok now, I have been giving him bread and water (don't know what else to feed him) I am not sure that he can fly. I am scared of it (lol).
