What is the rest of your face shape? If you worry about your forehead, cover it up with bangs. They can be straight or inverted V shape (but not a sharp V - hard to explain). Have the hairdresser layer the sides all the way down to your chin. I think it will look cute. If you have a round face, you should wear longer bangs about chin length. Part your hair in the middle and it will cover most of your forehead. If you have an oval or heart shape face, any style will look good.

What Haircut Fits Me

That's not a "big forehead", that's a "noble brow". :-)

Seriously, if the forehead is *really* high, bangs aren't going to do the trick. I struggled with variations for 5 years before I gave up and decided to to throw on a hat or scarf or headband when my forehead chilled or was in actually danger from sun exposure. It takes at least 5 years for cut bangs to catch up with never-cut hair.

I've been tempted by the headbands with the attached bangs, as sold for folk undergoing chemo, but so far I've resisted. :-)

Note: some folk don't consider hair "long" unless the person must avoid sitting on it ... others must loop it up to keep it from dragging on the ground. Either sort is amused by those who consider shoulder-length to be "long".

I have the same problem. I can't stand it, and I tried having regular 'ol bangs, but then they made me look like I was eight. Then I grew them out, and they made this freaky-looking wave that helped, but didn't look so great. So, instead, I got a low-bang cut that goes diagonally from one side of your forehead across and over the other eye, layering into the sides. Of course, you could have it just come over your fore head, not your eye. It works both ways. Layering's the key.

Depending on the shape of your face, long fringy bangs or side swept bangs would probably look great on you. I would definitely not try to do this at home. Find a hairstylist that has long hair of her own to trust to give you bangs with a style that suits your face and lifestyle.

As for a big forehead, it is advisable to cut some bangs even if they are wispy. It shortens the forehead. I am not familiar with "MNC" but I wouldn't think wispy bangs would hurt.

If you're not a big fan of full bangs, you can always have side-swept bangs cut in, which will frame your face nicely and take away from the size of your forehead.

You could wear bangs or bring your hair across your forehead to make a sophisticated look for you any time of the day. With this style you don't have to cut it. Like my picture for example :) ♣

Try the Nicole Ritchie bob cut with bangs or face framing layers with bangs. Bangs are the remedy!
