Do you think Iran is setting up some type of propaganda against the British???

ok Iran shows that women soldier on tv then recieves a letter telling to withdraw all british troops from Iraq??? then today one of the guy british soldiers goes on Iran TV and tells everyone that the british were actually in Iranian waters. Tony Blair denies this claim. Do you think they will use these soldiers for bribes??? Do you think all this will esculate matters to go to war???

Yes! They believe in doing any immorality for their religious fanatic cause. They treated our embassy personnel in a terrible way, with torture and brutality. I wouldn't trust anything they say. I think they are using the British sailors as a plow to force the UN to stop condemning them unanimously.

They always planned to do this. They took the British sailors prisoner so they could put pressure on the British government.

There will be no overt demands related to these people, because western governments can not be seen to give in to such demands.

However, they will do things such as take them for questioning, maybe try them, imprison them etc.

Of course, they can let them go when they quietly get what they want.

There is another agenda. It is to tell western powers that Iran talks the the talk, but also walks the walk. They are prepared to do something risky and dangerous.

This actually has an advantage for world stability, because then western powers won't foolishly make moves against Iran (for example bombing nuclear sites)

I think it's obvious that whoever is holding them is making them say that. And they are naturally abiding because they do not want to lose their lives. I would not be surprised if the next thing I heard was that Iran was going to execute these poor soldiers if the British and U.S. did not withdraw from Iraq. If that does happen, forget the March 2008 withdrawal date.

I don't know why Iran thinks the entire world is stupid. Obviously the soldiers are being coerced. They need to show us proof.

I'm not as up to date as others on this issue but does Iran want to start a war? Or are they just wanting the British to grovel to them?

I think it's deplorable to
parade prisoners on tv like that...

didn't the US and British do
