The best source of vitamin D is from the sun. However, a lot of people are unable to acheive the vitamin D this way.

Here are some of the best foods:
Butter and margarine, Cheese, Egg yolk, Fish liver oils, Fortified cereals and bread, Fortified milk, Herring, Mackerel, Oysters, Salmon

You might be glad to know that you don't need to eat anything to get your vitamin D!!

Your body naturally produces it from sunlight. About an hour exposure everyday produces MUCH more than a glass of milk.

Enjoy the tan!

rice, soy and fish.
you don't have to drink milk or consume ANY dairy to get a good amount of both vitamin D and calcium (despite propaganda from the greedy milk industry, it is not the best source, and it actually bad for you; ever wonder why little kids are always snotty? bc they're always sucking on a bottle of cow's milk, yeah ... mucus. gross)

anyway, try those things. plus leafy greens. those are SO good for you! =)

get sunlight, your body has a mechanism for making it's own vit. D. I believe Cod liver oil has a high amount of Vit. D in it. There are also many supplements available.
