I have been on and off with my boyfriend for 4 years. We do good for a couple months and then something always happens and we brake up, usually I get mad at him and brake up with him. At the longest it has been three weeks at a time. This time he made plans with me to watch a movie. I called him when we said we were going to get together and he said, "I'm at my buddies house and I'm going to be here all night." I don't care that he hangs out with his friends but he did make plans with me just the night before. I said, "You were the one who said that we were going to watch that movie tonight," then i hung up on him. He called back ten minutes later but I didn't answer. We haven't spoken since, its been a week. I still love and miss him a lot, but when we are together he uses me for rides places (because he doesn't have a car) and to buy him meals. He doesn't respect me enough to keep our plans.
So why do I miss the @sshole?

As of recently I realized I like my guy friend. We talk every couple of days or so, and I danced with him at Winter Formal. I mistakenly told him who I was interested in at formal, but after that night, I realized it was him. When we were talking, I mentioned something, and he said, "ah, i love friends like you." I really, really like him, but I don't know how to deal with this or go with it. I don't want to be the one who asks him out, I just really believe in being asked out. FYI I'm a freshmen, he's a junior. Help, please?

Im not a guy thats very sentimental and i have hardly ever cried, not even when i get hit in the nuts, lol. but i kind of felt like crying when a person at work told me his father died. I didnt know this person well and never met his father. but it was what he said that made me kind of sad. he said that he and his dad werent that close but now that hes gone he wishes he could just go fishing and drink a couple of beers with him. this kind of made me sad because thats the kind of relationship me and my dad have.
