That's part of the party's profile. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. You can't trust any of them, since the base always will try a new lie to cover the last lie. The GOP has lied so much even they believe their own lies.

i tell you what. you show me an administration since 1787 that hasn't lied, cheated or short-changed the american public & i'll kiss your butt in macy's window (34th street & broadway - manhattan, honey). but i know i'm safe. there is a wonderful & old saying about politicians & govt: "when do you know a politician is lying? - when his lips move." p.s. , by the way, and for my money, the only honest presidents we've ever had the fortunate pleasure of having were theodore roosevelt & harry truman. the rest? well...?

Lies, lies, what lies, and if you don't believe me, just ask them, they will tell you that they don't lie. It seems to be a repuglican trait, I give you their hero's Rush Limbaugh, Shawn Hannity, Ann Coulter. And their only news source Faux no news. If you take these sources into account I think you might be a little light on your estimate, by 5 or 6 lies a day. I expect on good days they might reach as many as a lie an hour.

Yeah, it seems we've had a lying administration for so long (18 years now). I'm tired of it.

Um, the election wasn't until November of 2000. He wasn't sworn in until January 20th, 2001. I was there.

Or are you saying the Bush administration began lying a full year before taking office?

(I love the fact that three people thumbs-downed this honest response...truth hurts)

That's funny since Bush didn't take office until 2001

Yes. But politicans have been lying since the profession was created, and US politicians have made a career of it for decades at least.

So, as far as lying goes, Bush is nothing special.

I think you are vastly underestimating. Despite the fact that Dubya's fraudulent administration didn't begin until January 2001, he and his friends were still churning out lies by the truckloads even before that date, and continue to do so to up to the present time.
