As of recently I realized I like my guy friend. We talk every couple of days or so, and I danced with him at Winter Formal. I mistakenly told him who I was interested in at formal, but after that night, I realized it was him. When we were talking, I mentioned something, and he said, "ah, i love friends like you." I really, really like him, but I don't know how to deal with this or go with it. I don't want to be the one who asks him out, I just really believe in being asked out. FYI I'm a freshmen, he's a junior. Help, please?

ok well lets see.....obviously u guys r friends, but do u want it to be more than that? if u do then u have to do something to show that like telling him that u like him....its not askin him out, but maybe wen u tell him that he will realize his feelings for u or he will want to be just friends....then u wont lose a friend and things will be a little awkward, but if u want a relastionship sometimes u hav to take the first step.....or even the biggest one of actually asking him out. it might go against wat u believe in, but maybe it will change ur life for the better. one thing can change ur life forever and it is ur decision and urs alone

I love YOU. It can drive you nuts!...
be his friend.. friends talk, go places , hang out together, get to know each others likes/ dislikes..
he's not that much older than you..
You could join a club maybe he's in?..
deal with your feelings honestly.. but, don't scare the guy away..
he's still feeling a lot of teenage stuff himself. and emotions are on power drive now at your ages.
Talk to your mom or parents on what is going on if you can.
they were young once... yes, they were..

ps. would you rather ask or be asked and maybe in waiting lose the opportunity in sharing activities together? something to think on... He may not really realize how much you care, there are guys who are a bit clueless sometimes, i hate to say ..

He will hit on you, give him time. Not to undermind men but at one time or another they always realize they are in love with you, even if it takes years! Try to hard to impress he will think you are to needy and you will loose him even as a friend, play it cool and give him hugs whenever you see him, but turn away if he tries to move in for a kiss. Wait for him to ask you out before you make out with him, if you are sure you can keep it just one simple kiss it's OK, but if you really like him you know you will make out with him and that is easy in a guy's eyes.

tell him. just tell him how you feel, but you kinda feel akward about it or whatever. if he asks about the one you mentioned at the winter formal, tell him you were afraid to tell him that he was the one you liked because you were afraid he didn't like you back. point being....just tell him.
