Can anyone refer me to a site that has a (simple) diagram that illustrates diffent wind directions at different altitudes. I can't find one.

I need one to illustrate to kids how pilots of hot air balloons are able to change the direction in which they travel by changing the altitude of the balloons. Thanks.

I have a dilemna on my hands..I am in my mide twenties and would like to go for nose-reshaping..my fiance asys I don't need it but if it makes me happy, he will support me. There is a problem…I grew up with my dad and we're close but I am not sure if I should tell him about my plans. My dad loves me loads and thinks I am the most pretty young lady in the world…if I tell him ..he would be so worried and stressed and beg me not to do it…he is 60 years old and I don't want to cause him stress. On the other hand, if I tell him after…he might feel bad and like I hid things from him, which may equally upset him..I don't know what to tell. I know he will be against the operation..he doesn't understand why women do such things…what's your advice? I really love my dad...

What exactly is a Scholarship? And how does it work? My from understanding..its something that gives you financial support for your studies, right?

Do they cover your living cost aswell, or just your school fees basically?

Do international scholarships work in the same way?

So then what happens after you´re finished studying, do you have to pay back the money you got from your scholarship after you´ve gotten a job and everything?

And i know this is kind of a stupid question but.. im asking this because..i kind of really dont know if im asking all of the right questions or if i know enough about scholarships and everything..so If i wanted to apply for an international scholarship, what kind of questions should i be asking? I mean should i get some financial advice? Are scholarships subject-specific or can i choose any subject?

my memory stick for my hp pavillion seems to have burnt up. got the blue screen of death. i had an old compaq persario and pulled the sticks out of it. they are the same size but the notches in the center of the stick do not line up. will these work or will i need to go to the store and match up the notches exactly?

Ok here's the deal. I had unprotected sex three months ago. The next day I got the morning after pill and took it as directed. I don't recall if I got the "period" that is expected after the pill. Soon after that I started on birth control and have been getting my period on a regular basis. What I am wondering is, am I just getting my period because the pill is forcing me to? Is there still a possiblity of being pregnant? I only ask because I've gained about 10lbs and have randomly vomited twice in the last two weeks. My weight has always been a steady 120 and I am almost never sick. As per other symtoms, I have been noticably tired and have had abdominal cramping. I took a home pregnancy test that came up negative but am still paranoid. I have also had a pap test since and they took urine. Would they have detected a pregnancy through that? Thanks

Apparently Medicare is raising premiums on Birth control in colleges. The question I have to ask is:

WHY IS MEDICARE PAYING FOR BIRTH CONTROL?????

Has our society degraded so far that sex is now mandatory for all college students? "Let's see, I need my antibiotics, my Diabetes medicine, and...Oh Yeah! My birth control!!!"

Is this the worst possible sign of the times, or what?

Hi,
I had a really weird experience. I had not gotten my credit card statement in the mail, and was getting a little worried. I went online to check my statement. When I got online, I had all these fraudulent charges. What is really strange, is that somehow, they had made a payment out of my checking account. I checked my checkbook, and was missing a check that they had made the payment with. My questions is why would the thief go to the trouble of making the payment??
