If you want to be able to play to clips on a normal DVD player, then you need to do something more complicated. You need a program that can transcode the movie clip from it's native format to the DVD format that DVD players can read.

These programs are called dvd 'authoring' programs. One of the programs in the Nero suite called 'Nero vision' lets you do this, but there are many others out there. Go to download.com and search for 'dvd author' and see what you can find.

u need to convert it first to dvd format as i am guessing if its of limewire it will only bee an avi file which is around 800mb. if u download winavi of limewire and install and run that u can convert ur film to dvd format. once it has converted find the folder its in, it shud contain .vob file, open nero and click dvd video drag on all the files in the folder where it has been converted to and drop into nero. click burn and do a writespeed of about x6 as i have experienced problem doin it faster whereby it will skip half way throught the film.
i use limewire to to download film as well as u torrent and 9 time out of 10 they always download as avi file which i then convert using winavi (from limewire otherwise it costs, should come with a serial key or a generator) and the i use nero to burn to dvd. hope this helps and is easy enuff for u to understand.

firstly
dont use limewire a its full of spyware (fact)
if you must use it to download clips
use nero
make a data disk and simply drag and drop the clips on to it make sure you either close the cd/dvd towatch on a frends pc or if its just for youself you can add more clips as you get them

hope theis helps

open up the file you downloaded your video clips to, copy them, to the DVD "blank dvd" drive. It will then come up with a..."you have files waiting to be written" message, Click on it, and it will open you up with the blank dvd page. up the top it will have your videos, in a section labled..."files to be written" On the top left, it will have the option "write these files" Click that, and go from there.

If that does'nt work, get Nero, or another free burner program. Nero, usually has a demo, that pretty much works through_and_through.

Hope it works!

depends what format they are, if they're already in dvd format, which i doubt, then it is a straight forward transfere.

they are probably .avi or xvid, so you would need a convertor

i use Winavi convertor. the latest version of divx has a convertor as well. see downloads.com
