How can I get my skin to be brown?

I know I can tan it but how long does it take? Are there other ways? I do not want a tanning salon BTW!

Get a tanning lotion such as Jergen's Natural Glow.

They are inexpensive at Walmart of Walgreens but very effective. You don't need an expensive one to get a great non streaking tan anymore.

I always apply a good body lotion first though. Personally I use Fruit of the Earth w/ Vitamin E. It cost around $2.47 for a 20 ounce bottle and it works great. No sticky feeling AND it dries quickly. THEN apply the tanning lotion on top of the regular lotion. It really makes a BIG difference.

There are several 'tanning levels' to choose from. Light, Medium and Dark. I use Medium as it makes a difference but not a dramatic difference. (so people won't notice it as much too quickly. hate the feeling of not being tanned one day and being really tanned the next day) Gradual changes are the best~

It will take just a few days and you'll see a big difference~

I use it every spring, like I am now. I even use it on my face. This helps give me a base tan to go out into the sun with. Any tanning lotion helps bring melanin to the surface. (what makes you look tan) I truly think this helps me the first time I'm exposed to the sun and helps me from getting burned. The melanin helps protect your skin from the sun's rays.

Just be sure to apply SUNBLOCK as the weather gets warmer and the rays from the sun become more dangerous.
You do get tan thru sunblock. I have used one every year for a long time and still always have a nice tan:o)

Try tanning creams - if you just want it on your face - try getting some blush that will add some color - you can get a spray on tan from the tanning salon that does not require you to sit under lights.

This is the parody of the times. In my part of the world, brown people blow loads of money trying to get fair and you want to do the reverse. Why dont you take a vacation to a tropic country for about an year - it is fun *** business

go outside as much as possible, their are some pills for tanning too, their called uhhhh Australlia Tan i think

Loreal Sublime Bronze. Very good. It doesn't streak and it gives you a good color, very natural. Also the ones that Victoria's Secret sell called Very Sexy are subtle..they build color overtime...and they dont streak.
