I have a friend who has a 7-year old son in first grade. He is a good student and is not behind in any of his subjects. His teacher, counselor, and principal have no concerns that he will not pass first grade, which my friend knows. But even so, she still thinks he is doing poorly because his performance and reading/spelling skills are not up to her expectations. Her expectations are unrealistically high, and her son is aware of that so he feels like he is a constant disappointment. He is convinced that he will not pass first grade because of this. Bi-weekly meetings with him, his mother, and counselor don't seem to be helping to get through to my friend that her son is doing fine. Is there anything I can do, say, or suggest, that could help this situation? I don't want her son to go through life thinking he's a failure because of his mother's insecurities.

We all fell in love with our kids the moment we first saw them of course but when did you know that little child was really yours.
Mine was when he was about a month old & couldn't stop crying...the only thing that settled him was listening to Van Halen "Unchained" over & over again.

we had a cat in the house then for no reason,it embraced my ankle with its claws so from then on i hated cats. i had a dog,my cat's friend,who's so annoying,he peed in my bed!!!

and to this day nobody knows? I am just curious how many have had a one night stand while on vacation, biz trip or other.

I will be honest, I had one 10 years ago and it made me love my wife even more. I realized then that one night stands does not hold a candle to a loving wife. I never did it again and I never told ANYONE. One of those things in life that I will take to my grave.

i recentlyjust lost my best friend whom i have had for 6 years, we were closer then close like sisters, i loved her so much. and she recently kicked me out of her life, she has been acting weird and didnt really give me en explanation, id do anything for her back but its been a month now and i know shes gone. How do I make access to it private if it's stored in owners documents? I've right clicked, picked sharing and security, and it won't let me make the folder private. It worked when I had it all on my desktop and in files on C. Thank you in advance. I'm CONFUSED!

I having problem with my ex.
we have been seprate for a 1yr and we first made a deal that our son would be going to see his dad every second week and he has to stay at his grandmother house plus no gf to be around my son.Things have change which my son would spend three days with his dad drop down to a overnight . Due to My ex works 4 days and get three days off he wantes a day to himself. But now I am getting muck around due to his mother can't handle having her grandson at her house every second weekend. So it change once a month.Now I get abuse due to the week that my ex want to see his son happen to be call off due to I allow my son to got to a birthday party which is a sleep over.Plus early this year my son go to preschool he goes on tuesday which my ex try to get me to change it so that he can get his son. I told him No . I have made other plans for my son which happen to fall on the day that his father comes and pick him up .He think I doing it so that he can't see his kid

I'm planning on purchasing Final Fantasy XI: The Vana'diel Collection 2007, and I've been looking into purchasing inexpensive, out-of-print copies of the strategy guides. I've checked with Amazon.com, and they cost just about twice as much, and I'm currently on a tight budget.

As much as I really want to play FFXI, I want to get those guidebooks so I can study them and learn more about the game before my copy arrives at my doorstep.

what did/do you feed your infant when s/he first started eating solids? like did you give your baby a jar of baby food for breakfast and a bottle and just formula for the rest of the day? or for dinner instead of breakfast? or only half of a jar a day with formula? or just a jar of food without formula once a day? basically what did you feed your baby at each feeding throughtout the day?

i talked to some atheists cause i was interested in joining the club and ive alwas been interested in science, but they didnt like it that i didnt know much bout atheism and i asked to many questions. they kept saying i dont know about evolution and that i am stupid. im positive one man called me a ****** under his breath. i was just trying to learn more about your beliefs and they kept calling me names and said i was dimwitted, an idiot, uneduated, and a lot more. do all atheists act like they are smarter than other people? these men were not that smart. i dont hvae my GED yet but these guys went to class at comunity college so they are geniouses or nothing. i think atheists need more brothers. they are to white and there is no diversity
