How do I make access to it private if it's stored in owners documents? I've right clicked, picked sharing and security, and it won't let me make the folder private. It worked when I had it all on my desktop and in files on C. Thank you in advance. I'm CONFUSED!

I'm not really sure what you mean, but I think you want to "hide" your files so that it won't be accessed by anyone else, right? If it's folder you want to be private, I think you have to be in another user account in that same computer (if you're using XP, that is), then you can save your files privately and only you and the administrator can access it. I'm not really sure about this because I never had any other user accts in my computer. Or better yet, do as Lee said: just hide the folder by right-clicking it's properties and making it hidden, but you have to go to control panel FOLDER to make it stay hidden or not...

If it's documents, you can make them private by going to TOOLS-OPTIONS-SECURITY then put password to open or to modify.

And, oh, everything that you saved are on drive C, unless you have another drive or you partitioned your hard drive. Anyway, all files are saved in hard drives and it's only up to you on how to cleverly hide it without losing it entirely... :-D

Yes you are. Lee gave you about the best answer possible under the circumstances. YOu need a basic computer class badly, so that you will have some knowledge basis upon which to frame a question.

Memory can be stored in many things, but the RAM is where the memory for the computer comes from, and the hardrive is where the data is saved to.. maybe it has been hidden?
