you're in college, it's your birthday, and you got a birthday card from a good friend who goes to a different school. do you typically tell him (either e-mail, phone, whatever) "thank you?" do most college folks?

I had a hystersalpingogram and IUI this month...I missed my piriod (which never happens) its always on time never even late. Can a HYSTEROSALPINGOGRAM delay my period? I took a HPT on the second day it was late and it was negative..could this be wrong? At this point I am 4 days late and having lots of stomach pain...anyone knows whats going on with me? Can I be pregnant?

So I've been with my boyfriend for 5 months. All of a sudden I meet this new guy, a month ago, and he turns out to be exactly what I was looking for. So I have had confusing feelings about who I want. I broke up with my boyfriend whom is a great guy, & cares so much, yet I got back with him the very next day. I wanted to break up to see if I could try to talk to the other guy, yet when I broke up with my boyfriend, I was hurting. I led the other guy on, and once he found out I got back with him, he was disappointed. I told him to wait for me, he waited, and I chose my boyfriend, being that I dont really know what I'm feeling, so I didnt want to break up before I knew what i was going through. Both of the guys are friends with my friends. The whole situation sucks, what should i do?!? Stay with my boyfriend, break up, try things with the other guy, or go single?!? I need help.

As the eldest one of the family...even after my marriage...helped all my youngest brothers and sisters.....helped them for higher studies ..their marriages...the welfare of their children....failed to take care of my family....Now when I need their help for the sake of my family..all r not responding ..not even cared to visit me..The mistake I done is that I spent most of my husband's money for my brother's and sister's.welfare..than my family....So now nobody is there to take care about my family...Now I'm 60 years...only my husband -retd.engineer is with me..we live on the pension...not depending on anybody.....

My male kitty got neutered recently, just yesterday in fact. He's doing well, eating and drinking as he's supposed to, but even after We picked him up I haven't seen any stitches on him. Is this because he's a black cat and the stitches are black as well, or is it because of something else? He has not been licking or biting at the area, and the incision is doing well, with no bleeding or discharge... or stitches. He's about 13 months old, mixed breed kitty with no extra health problems besides occasional spraying.

I was told that I am not black just because I didnt know what a "scrapple" was. I was at the cafe here at my job and was hungry this morning. I wanted a breakfast sandwich and didnt know what scrapple meant. well the the lady (she's black) taking to order said how could you not know what it means? its a black thing! i cannot tell you how offended i was. so I told her that she was racist. then some janitor(also black) came by who i assume was her friend and she went and told him. he said "its food for our people, aren't you black?". I cannot tell you how offended I am that because i dont know a particular food. im not black. This ignorance makes me so upset. what do you think?

any other people of color been discriminated by your own damn race?

I am 23, have never dated. I am interested in a guy I met recently who although is incredibly outgoing in general, is more girl shy then I am guy shy. He sends very mixed signals however. Most of the time he is very flirty and sweet, and will spend evenings out with friends staring at me like i may disappear, but sometimes he acts like he is waiting for me to attack. A few weeks ago after alot to drink he gave me a quick kiss, which was very out of character for him, and a few days ago when I saw him he made the off hand comment that the only reason he every got with his ex is because she made a move on him, and that he would never make a move on a girl. Also very odd because he never talks about his ex with anyone. I think the comment may have been for my benefit. Would I be out of line to try to make a move on him? And how, exactly, does one make a move? I am crazy about this guy, and really would like the see this go somewhere, but have no idea what I am doing

We adopted a fox hound mix from the pound. Wonderfull dog, does not bark, loveable, very smart, has learned several tricks in 2 months. He is very very gentle. If my chihuahua is in the yard and won't come back in he gently picks her up and brings her to me. He is a monster and they are like mutt and jeff.
However, the big lummox is having some kind of seperation anxiety. He is 14 mos old and I can not even walk out to the mailbox and when i come back in he has done something naughty, like get in the garbage, empty the hamper, pull the sheets off the bed. He never chews anything up , he just makes a mess. How can I break this? I can't take him everywhere I go, in fact we can hardly get him into the car, i think he is afraid he is going to be left again.

My boyfriend and I have been together for over 2 years, and everytime we are making love he will call out Beyonce's name instead of mine. He will even ask me to "Jiggle It" like she does in her videos! We have a wonderful relationship, but this is going overboard! I have had sever problems with my menstruation, have had all sorts of tests done, do not have PCOS either, everything is perfect but still keep missing my period befor january i didnt have a period for a year, january period was induced by progesterone challenge 10mg for 7 days(period was january 20-25th), used progesterone cream february had a period february 16th-21st, still have not had period this month have had tender nipples this past week, negative pregnancy test..
My height is 5'2-5'3 and i weight in between 106-108 is this underweight??????What else could i do?? hubby and i would like to conceive..
Have seen a gyno he did nothing because i have had all the tests done already
I have also tried OVULEX (big waste of time and money)
Have tried natural herbs such as vitex, female toner, red clover, acupuncture and their herbs ect nothing is working..I JUST WANT A BABY why is this so hard. I'm very upset:(
