I have a bf whom i dont know if im in love with, where as i have another guy friend whom i like?

So I've been with my boyfriend for 5 months. All of a sudden I meet this new guy, a month ago, and he turns out to be exactly what I was looking for. So I have had confusing feelings about who I want. I broke up with my boyfriend whom is a great guy, & cares so much, yet I got back with him the very next day. I wanted to break up to see if I could try to talk to the other guy, yet when I broke up with my boyfriend, I was hurting. I led the other guy on, and once he found out I got back with him, he was disappointed. I told him to wait for me, he waited, and I chose my boyfriend, being that I dont really know what I'm feeling, so I didnt want to break up before I knew what i was going through. Both of the guys are friends with my friends. The whole situation sucks, what should i do?!? Stay with my boyfriend, break up, try things with the other guy, or go single?!? I need help.

First of all, you shouldn't break up with one guy to test out another. That isn't fair. You need to think hard about who you'd prefer to be with. And if you can't decide, then maybe you shouldn't be with either for the moment. I know you're confused, but at the same time it isn't right to lead either of them on. If you don't act quick, you're probably going to lose both. Remember that when you are with someone, there will probably always be other people you find attractive or nice... but if you already have someone who loves you and cares about you.. then what's the point? If you are still young, then maybe try casual dating, rather than trying to jump into commited relationships. Dating can be okay too, until you find that special person worth commiting to. I personally would stay with your boyfriend. In the meantime, get to know the other guy better, but don't get to personal with him. If you really feel that you don't feel anything towards your current boyfriend, then I would tell him that you want a break for a while, because you think that you're in a touchy moment of your relationship. If you start to love the other guy, understand that it will hurt you a lot to break up with your boyfriend. It takes a lot of guts to do so.

The whole point of dating is to find out who you're going to be compatible with. If your heart leads you away from your bf, you need to tell him that. He'll be disappointed, but he'll respect you for it. But when you do that, you need to make sure it's over. You can't ride the fence.

I don't believe in defining "mutually exclusive" relationships before marriage. If it's meant to be, it will become "exclusive" on its own without the need for empty hollow promises based on insecurity. If it doesn't become exclusive, you're probably not with the right person.

If you think that you like this other person more than your actual b/f than go with him. If you like your boyfriend more then go with him. You have to make a big descision here and you should go with what you want not what someone is pressuring you into. I hate you girls that are with a guy that seems to be best for you yet you are willing to risk it for something that is not guaranteed. Girl stay with your boyfriend b/c the worst thing you would want to see is him with another woman. Good Luck!!

I think you should go single for awhile. Just because your single doesn't mean you can't date. If your not committed to someone you are free to spend time with anyone you choose. If you don't know if you love him then you don't. You would KNOW.
