Without even considering that there is no evidence for any miracles, and that all of the Gospels were written by people born after the death of Jesus... Why were Jesus' miracles so flimsy and useless? They seem like David Blaine tricks and not the miracles of a deity coming to save humanity.

For example:

Jesus brought back a child to life... leaving all the other billions of innocents who had died to rot in their graves.

Jesus walked on water... when there was a boat right next to him.

Jesus turned water into wine... further dehydrating the people and encouraging public drunkenness.

Jesus turned a few loaves and fishes into many... feeding only a small group of people around him for that single meal, and ignoring the rest of the starving world. Hunger is a major problem in the world today.

Jesus cured a few lepers... and left us to deal with leprosy. Thankfully, scientists have discovered a cure where Jesus did not.

February 24th, 2007, I got hit right below the eye with a piece of metal. There was a tiny puncture and it was swollen for a while, but then it healed.... So I thought. I had a slightly red bag under my eye for a while, and now it's getting flaky/crusty and it looks like dry skin. Last Thursday I also spent the day sitting right next to a girl with pink eye. I'm afraid to wash it or put lotion on it, because it is literally DIRECTLY under my eye. It's about 1/4 in. under, and 1/2 in. above. Please help!

Everytime I make meatballs, they end up tough and really really chewy. The flavor is good, just the texture... not good at all.

He thinks it's cool that he's "never missed a day of work due to illness"...yet he's sitting behind me hacking and wheezing and I'm not sure but I think one of his lungs may come flying out at any moment. I think it is so disrespectful to everyone else at work to come in when you're sick, how can I let him know that he is being inconsiderate to those who have to share his workspace?

I was wondering if there were spicific rules or laws of fingering for playing music from the Baroque poriod. Let's say you're playing music writen by Bach, and it has fingering writen in, must you always follow what is writen? I am mainly asking this because after i tryed to change some fingering, my organ teacher said, "you cant change things untill you know the rules/laws of music". Any ideas are welcome. But refrences would be great so i know were to look. Thanks

In general, the F1 community say that the quickest way to finish a race is to have a two stop strategy.
Having said that, why is it that when a driver takes a grid penalty (ie, dropped 10 places on the grid), his car is always filled up with fuel and he is put on a one stop strategy and he always ends up finishing quite high up and beating alot of the drivers that are two stopping? It can't be put down to the tyre performance because surely one stopping tyres would be under more stress and would have more tyre wear?
Or is it just a case of the other cars just being "slower"?

I am working out 6 days a week and not seeing any weight loss. I am currently doing the Power 90 cardio/circuit 3/4 videos 3-4 days a week, ab ripper 200 six days a week, Plus 10+ miles of cardio a week. I am seeing toning, but no weight loss to speak of.

I did the same work out last year w/o the protein supplements, and saw toning and weight loss. I am now taking a soy protien around 3pm and a whey protein immediately after my workout. Both are very low carb.

Just as little background info: I am 05' 03" currently weigh 115 lbs and have been physically active in sports my whole life...so I am NOT out of shape. I eat healthy and only drink water and occasionally low fat milk.

Any thoughts??

Ok, I found my cat in Hurricane Frances, it was lost. I took care of it, never did anything wrong and one day he all of a sudden got really mean. Now 3 years later ita a mean little jerk. I never yell at him, I do everything right for him. I show him love and play with him. One second he's sweet then pow!! He nails me. His pupils get big and it gets dark around his eyes, then he meows in a very mean way!! I dont get it, he was nice then all of a sudden got mean. and to make it worse whens hes in a bad mood he goes right where im about to go then he nails me again thinking im gonna bother him but im not. I show all but anger to my cat. When Im sad and sick he nails me. When im happy and loving he bites me. He get doesn't hurt me in a playful way, hes just,...just. Oh I dont know what to do!!!! HELP ME!! Hes so bad, everyone knows him as Mister Mean or Dr. Evil!!
