Microsoft Word, or whatever other program you use for word processing. All of those programs that help you make a resume are garbage. If you need help, find a book by a reputable publisher at the book store. The problem with programs/assistants (like the animated "help" character in Word) is that they offer too little flexibility in resume building. Different professions have very different resume styles--for example, and academic or scientist should have a very extensive resume, listing all classes taught, all publications, awards, etc., and can range from 2 to 50 pages in length. Someone applying for a low-level management position, however (say, retail, office, etc.) should almost never have a resume over one page. Tech people have to list their skills, whereas a sales manager needs to list their significant accomplishments. Those programs simply don't understand the distinctions. So, grab a book, or if you are still in school, talk to your career counselor/office, for help.

i am just guessing, since i use a PC, but there should be some sort of resume template in your word processing program. In Microsoft Word, you would choose File, New to go to the templates folder. There are several "wizards" there to create various templates. or, go to Apple.com and see if they have free templates for you to download & use.

Word would do it.
If you don't have Word, go here:
http://www.openoffice.org
Download the Mac version from there. It's like a free version of Office for you to use.
