I just had a cup of one of the worlds finest coffee...X-large double, double. But something was missing...Ahhh...there it was in the last mouth full. (the sugar).
Don't ya hate when that happens? or am I alone on this one?
Should Tim's have an automatic stir machine to give the workers wrists a break?

I have always known I want to teach, but was always hesitant because of the fact that I stutter. I underwent speech therapy but did not find it very helpful. I decided to enter the education program anyways and I really enjoy it and feel that I will be good at it. Someone at school said to me "I never heard of a teacher that stutters, are you sure this is the right carreer for you?" I am starting to think I am in over my head.....

Went to get my taxes done today. The preparer guy and I were talking about exemptions, etc. And I asked him about the National Security letters that the govt. can use under the Military Commissions Act to get information on people. He had NO CLUE at all about this. I told him, legally they could get my tax information. How could you not know this?

Anyway, what do you think about the Patriot Act, these letters and the abuses from this? Let's see if we can set a world's record for responses and educate people at the same time :).

this is my case

i did pretty well in junior high but sux totally since grade 10... and if i go on like this im gonna drop out no doubt bout that... i used to play it cool and told my teachers & fds & family (esp. my teachers they expect much of me) im doin ok in sch even tho the fact is exactly the opposite, and now i realize my lie has snowballed to be a crisis but it seems to be just a bit too late... how do u cram ur exams in 2 weeks given u hv absolutely no idea wt u hv (or hvn't...) learned in high?

please help i must ace my exams... i simply CAN'T drop out of school... no alternative...thanks...

My son & I are moving 4 hours away next Sat. My husband & I are going thru a rough time right now since I believe he's been lying & cheating. We haven't seen him since last Sun. when he left upset.(he comes home during the day) Last night I sent him a text saying hello & later I sent him 1 asking about our income taxes & he never responded. At the first of the week my son was looking out the window every so often when he heard a car or a horn outside to see if it was his daddy. Of course it never was. He's stopped doing it as much, but a few minutes ago I heard him doing it again. My son has been acting up this week & doing things he knows he's not supposed to do. When I tell him not to do something he tries to do it anyway or says no(he's 4). He probably has no intention of coming home this weekend since I can tell he packed a bag. What should I do? I feel bad that son might not see his dad before we leave..do I ask him why & tell him he should see him or leave it alone?

I have been with my current boyfriend for almost a year now and I love him more then anything.I am in school right now and we are both 18. we have a 2 hour long distance relationship but get to see each other most weekends. he didnt graduate high school and had a pretty rough family life. He wants to join the marines because he feels that he will be able to make up for his past decisions and make a difference. he says he will be able to support me this way. I desperatley want him to stay and feel that I will be miserable being in a military relationship. but at the same time I feel that he will never be happy if he doesnt do this. any military wives or girlfriends? please help?

Its maybe called Pandaemonium, it was made maybe in the 80's or 90's. I saw once a long time ago so I really don't remember anything much about it, but it was really good. All I remember is that some of the movie takes place in purgatory. Its pretty funny, as I remember. Anybody know what I'm talking about???

Ok so I did something terrible last night and I'm just looking for advice on what to do about it now. I feel really horrible so don't bother responding by just telling me how awful I am because I already know. So last night me and my boyfriend went out and invited another couple we know to go with us. We were having a good time but before I knew it me and my boyfriend were angry about each other for something. Our friends could feel the tension but we just silently decided to talk about it later because it wasn't a big deal. But the tension kept escalating and we ended up excusing ourselves and having a big fight in the parking lot. To make matters worse the 4 of us drove together so we left and just drove home in the awkwardly silent car. Me and my boyfriend worked things out and we're fine but we both feel really awful about inviting them out and then fighting in front of them. How do we tell them we are sorry or should we just pretend it didn't happen? Thanks

I see on here and when i went to college some many kids who did not even know how to do laundry. There parents still came in their room got their clothes washed and folded it for them They never had to wash a dish or clean up after themselves and then they get to college and are complete pigs. I have been washing my own clothes since the six grade and if did not wash i had dirty clothes. even if you don't have a washer in your home you should make them go with you so they know how. What do your kids do

I have a disability and live in chronic pain. I am so frustrated by how those of us with 'unseen' problems are treated.

Most disabilities are NOT obvious. It seems people expect them to be; be in a wheelchair, or one's mobility so impared it's obvious; then they 'approve'. How arrogant! I have only so much activity I can tolerate a day, so I have to conserve this.

A person's medical condition is b/n them and their Dr. I get dirty looks when I park in the handicap space, and ugly comments. 'It doesn't look like anything's wrong with you!',or 'You don't look handicapped to me'.

I couldn't walk a year ago. After intense treatment, I get about with strict limitations.Though I still live in chronic pain, it's worse when walking. I didn't care about my apprearance and was very depressed.
I finally improved on this, and appear 'normal'.I guess I should appear on death's door to qualifty to park here. (I use my hc tag)

I was offered a modeling contract at a well respected talent agency in Detroit when I was twenty. I am now almost 23 and would like to get back into modeling.
I was just too immature and had difficulties making myself sign the contract (because I had an abusive boyfriend) when it was originally offered.

I now wish to get back in with the agency because I want a modeling career. I don't know how to approach them. They have "open calls" every once in a while, and you are welcome to "send in your pictures and get a response within 8 weeks" with their agency, but I don't feel like I should have to do these things because I was already offered a contract.

Should I just call there and say "I was once offered a contract, and have the desire to pursue modeling again" or what? I'm not sure what to say!

I want them to be receptive, but not angry because I didn't sign the first contract.

New Jersey: Best American battleship, fought in several wars, great career.
