I was offered a modeling contract at a well respected talent agency in Detroit when I was twenty. I am now almost 23 and would like to get back into modeling.
I was just too immature and had difficulties making myself sign the contract (because I had an abusive boyfriend) when it was originally offered.
I now wish to get back in with the agency because I want a modeling career. I don't know how to approach them. They have "open calls" every once in a while, and you are welcome to "send in your pictures and get a response within 8 weeks" with their agency, but I don't feel like I should have to do these things because I was already offered a contract.
Should I just call there and say "I was once offered a contract, and have the desire to pursue modeling again" or what? I'm not sure what to say!
I want them to be receptive, but not angry because I didn't sign the first contract.
