Nothing specific, but rather general.

For instane, let's say someone talks rudely to someone else and when called on it, they say, "I'm just being honest" or "The truth hurts".

There are countless way to be honest, and people will be more receptive to the message if their feelings aren't hurt.

So what is the ultimate goal? To hurt the person, or for the person to be receptive to the message?

I've got some broken phones. Whoops, I mean, refurbished. Lots of books, some vases and lamps, shoes and 2 huge Cerwin Vega speakers. I've got a rusty flute (that's ANTIQUE, yeah...), a guitar with a tiny hole in the back. Oh yeah, lots of polyester t-shirts, some Happy Meal toys, a Lenny Kravitz sculpture, a set of Julia Child salt shakers and free lemonade for everyone!

I have a gallon of latex tan and a quart of a rusty orange. I am trying to match a strip in a rug.

Here is the challenge, can I add a quart of gold (the decorative accent style gold and I think it is not latex) to the latex mixture.

Latex, of course drys quickly, I tested this gold and it took about 2 days to get totally non tacky.

What would happen if I mix them? Would they just take longer to dry or would it just make a total mess?

I'm a gay person and totally comfortable and happy about that, I don't want a Christian makeover into a closet-gay straight travesty or a celibate non-person with all physical warmth and intimate relationships ruled out.
I'm sorry but the Christian idea of perfection isn't my cup of tea just as silicone breasts and plastic surgery are not everyone's cup of tea either.

I have insurance; but did a procedure that my insurance did not fully cover. I owed approx 600 dollars on a 5000 dollar procedure. It is now with a collection company. But; if I don't pay it; what's the worse that can happen? Does it affect my credit? Can I still visit the collecting hospital? Etc.

I have noticed a trend in this section of Y/A. If someone asks a question about The Divinci Code, The Dead Sea Scrolls, The KJB vs the Holy Bible that person is attacked and told not to ask such dumb questions on R&S. Where do the Christians think these questions should be asked?

I have a 2004 saturn vue 2.2L 4 cylandar 5 speed manual. What happened was where the actual shift stick connects to the rod going toward my engine there is a piece thats holds them together. That piece broke off and now I need to either find a way to fix it or find somewhere that has that piece so I can replace it....ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!?!?!?!?! This is my only car and I have to have it for work

I have six different investments pooled into one account. I want to know how to figure out what the rate of return is over the life of my investment.

I have the following rates of return on each: 4.7%, 15.3%, (19)%, 60%,94.7% and 39.6% during the life of investment. How do I find figure what the average rate of return is? My statements do not have that information listed and when I called customer service they told me that I would have to do it manually but couldn't tell me how to do it!

MY SON IS 15 MONTHS OLD. Now that Americans are set on global domination and are invading other countries. Just as the Germans lied to their people and invaded Poland in 1939, the Americans lied to their people and invaded Iraq, massacring thousands of innocent people in the process. Three weeks ago my best friend and I got in a fight. We were having history then, and I usually sit next to her during the class, but this time she sat next to someone else and so did I. Let's just call the person I sat next to R.
During the class, R. and I started writing notes. And at a certain point we started writing about my friend. R. wrote lots of mean stuff, and I didn't make the situation any better by writing that my friend 'overreacts' and 'gets mad about the dumbest things.'
But soon, my friend and I made up!
Three weeks later (today):
I find out that SOMEHOW my friend knows about the note-and R. was the person that gave it to her! My friend is pissed- and i understand why! I am really sorry about that note, and I don't really mean the stuff that I wrote-it was just for the moment.

I don't know how to make it up to my friend. Any ideas? I'm pretty sure she won't talk to me anymore!!!!
