My gear shifter linkage broke......Any help?

I have a 2004 saturn vue 2.2L 4 cylandar 5 speed manual. What happened was where the actual shift stick connects to the rod going toward my engine there is a piece thats holds them together. That piece broke off and now I need to either find a way to fix it or find somewhere that has that piece so I can replace it....ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!?!?!?!?! This is my only car and I have to have it for work

contact junk yards in your area...I'm sure you can find the linkage part very cheap
