My dad is in stage 4 kidney cancer and he just came home from the hospital. My wife and my mom don't want to get involved with anything. My wife is going back to her mom house to sleep so it left me and my cousin to take care my dad. Can some one tell me what should I do? Thanks!!

my boyfriend and i have been going together for over 1 year.and for the first 10 months everything was great and its was pefect. next thing i know i felt like he was not giving me all of his attention.( the reason why.... he was at football practice from 2-5pm.) so i guess i got jealous because i was not the center of his world. so i got attitudes with him made up stuff to get him mad and to get his attention. almost 1 week before our 1 year anniversary he brakes up with me because i was doing him wrong. we got back together 1 week later. now it has been a month since then and i have been doing the same thing agian and i just wont his attention and he is not understanding that. i cant just tell him thats what i wont. but all i wont is his attention. how do i get him to understand that?

i'm 21 years old and hey, im getting into my first job but when i had my medical exam just days ago i found out i have thoracic dextroscoliosis of 17 degrees and lumbar levoscoliosis of 9 degrees! IS THAT BAD?! no wonder i get back aches once in a while - maybe bcoz of incorrect body positioning?? will this progress as i grow older? or can it be corrected without use of braces? how ?? pls help!

I am an adult and have been dating an amazing man for about a month. I very much want to persue the relationship but our family backgrounds are extremely different and I know that my father, who I've always wanted to make proud, would not approve. I am upper middle class white from the East Coast. My guy is from a middle class Jamacain family. My family is about being prim and proper, ie: Cheney's Daughter is an embarrasment because she is a lesbian.....so she's basically not allowed to be happy - My guy's family is about love and fun and acceptance and harmony and joy. But I do not want to lose my family, especially since I already have an 11yo who is very close to them. So, it's not just about me making me happy, my son would lose his Grandfather. Screw the rest of them. Our true colors are on the inside. That's what matters to me.

I grew up in a smaller town (about 10,000). My mom and dad have lived in the same place since they were married (mom was born 20 miles away). My dad is from Denmark and came over for school. Okay well, my mom is kind of different, or maybe a better word is curious and unsettled. She says she is so lonely because there are no people like her that are into different ways of thinking. She has never worked. She studies goddesses and yoga, meditation. All she does is read. She says that she wants to give up being a mother and let her kids figure it all out themselves. My sisters are 14 and 16. She says she wishes she would have followed her dream of being a broadway actress...aka not having us. My dad works so hard. My mom is always using 'his' money to travel to workshops, trainings. She says that my dad is not interesting.
