Why does salad cream go with everything ? Why is Heinz the best?

Salad cream is the best additive in the whole world - after chillis. Me and my kids have salad cream with everything much to my wife's disgust (she hates it).
With cold beans is cool, on pizza, with chips, with weetabix, salad cream sandwiches (just bread and SC), with Heinz tomato soup and cheddar. It goes with anything - but I don''t like marmite with it (my kids do).

Salad cream is one of the most disgusting things I've ever tasted, my husband loves it but I can't even bear the smell! Heinz beans are the best because they have been with us for ages and we feel comfortable with them, also they do taste better than any other brand I've tried. Now, about mixing cold beans with salad cream, if you like it then fill your boots!

Not sure on the salad creame, but the cold backed beans are lovely. i could eat a tin right now! lol. However its true, has to be heinz.

I prefer salad cream and tinned peas, try it. Also try out Sainsbury's Basic Salad Cream. It makes a nice change from Heinz.

Hi, most definately go together, especially when you have them with a salad, Heinz is the best, nothing will beat it, I like it in Bacon Sandwiches as well,

An interesting postulation - could be gross but obviously isn't. I prefer baked beans with sweet chilli sauce or perhaps a hit of wasabi...Whatever works for you - enjoy! Heinz isn't the best for BB. Aldi ones are OK too (especially with wasabi!)

Would prefer warm beans but would eat cold, can I replace with Mayonnaise! The best sauce with ANYTHING, only hellmans, no other is the same.

it's only wrong if eating gravy as soup is wrong and eating stuffing mix before its cooked is wrong!!!!..............we all have strange tastes......if you like it then eat it!!!.............just off to try some baked beans and salad cream now lol.................
