what would some of the reasons be for why a guy would look away from looking at a girl when he sees that girl looking at him?

he is embarrased, because you caught him looking at you.thats the ONLY reason.=)

1.the guy does not like the girl ,so he does not want her to
have a wrong idea..if he maintains gaze at her
2.guy is shy
3.guy lacks confidence on himself
4.guy is thinking.."ok..I am gonna look away for few seconds,
if when I look back she is still looking at me ...gonna go and
talk to her"
5.guy is looking to see if his gf/wife is not coming so he won't
get busted lookin at other chicks
6.guy found a BETTER girl to look at.....lol

He could be shy that she looked his way so he becomes self conscious. He could really like her but not want to give her a hint until he wants to tell her. He could be disgusted and lastly he could just be looking around.

-generally thinks she is good looking
-unsure of himself
-doens't want to be caught oggling
there are so many reasons it isn't fair to generalize.. but ya those are some

reflex, not wanting the girl offended, thinking the girl looked at him 'cause she didn't like his looking at her
