My husband wants to join the navy. The recruiter told him that he wont be deployd to iraq, that the ones that will be deployed are the navy seals, and that it is really hard to get into that field only 10% make it.Right now he is working in construction his annually salary is $32,000 bearly starting off.He told the recruiter that he is intrested in studying to be a mechanic or engineer.what do your recommend for him doing.Do you recomend him to stay where he is at now or join the navy?He wants something that will pay him good in the feature and great benefits.Im not sure how the navy works. Some say its great some say its not.Can i please get some advice from pepole that have been in the navy or serving?I want to know if it a good career and what are the chances of him going to war?And if he was to join the navy, would he get a good job after he gets out?Thank you guys!
