Has it improved your relationships to other people, changed your character, or is it just a burden of do's and don't's?

There is no burden of does and don'ts. Once you are truely a born again Christian, then God sends the Holy Spirit to work with you and to convict you when you are sinning. When I first gave my life to God through Jesus Christ, I didn't really feel saved yet. Then the Holy Spirit started to work with me and first went the bad language. Then I got convicted of working in the bar as a bartender so I quit. It was amazing how before nothing bothered me there, but once convicted, I could not stand to be around heathen acting people in the bar. Also I got convicted of my music. I was listening to rock and roll, like Led Zeppelin, Ozzy Osbourne and some of the other bands from the 70's and 80's. After listening to the music, I wanted to throw away the CDs, as I did not want to hear music that was of satan. I also got convicted of not dressing modest. I have been wearing jeans for years, but until now I never realized how they expose a woman to make a man sin. I am now buying dresses and have some that my mother in law made for me. Yes, I am very happy with this new change. I love being convicted when I am doing wrong, because then I turn away from the sin and turn to God. I have lost some friends who still live like heathens and say I have changed, but I have gained many new Christian friends and some of my old friends too are saved now. The friends who turned away from me were never really friends to begin with if they would do this. Also there are some who tell me I have changed and love it. Yes, my marriage has greatly improved now that me and my husband are both saved. Again, it is never a burden to turn away from sin.

It's not a list of do's or don'ts at all. It's a matter of letting Jesus be the Lord of our life--the One to whom we give our total allegiance and to whom we dedicate our life--and letting Him change us and making us like Him. It's not what we do--it's who we are. It's not just a checklist of things to do or not to do but an absolute and total change of our character and spiritual condition--literally the difference between life and death. He saved me from the brink of suicide when I was 15--that was almost 21 years ago--and it's been an incredible journey ever since. Check out the first link below for a little about my life, and if I can help answer any questions you may have, feel free to drop me a line at chad@jesusfreak.com. Take care.

there is no way possible for me to fully be able to express to you how much i have improved. until one experiences for themselves they will never be able to understand it.

i will give it my best shot...
its hard because, these feelings and experiences cant be put into mere words.

for the most part, i have been shown love. a real love. i had never before known what love was. i thought i did, but i would have never thought about how it could touch the deepest part of my heart.
this love has opened my eyes. i see things of this world in a whole new perspective. i take more time to appreciate the things around me, the things i have in this life.
i have a feeling of fulfillment.
a reason for being.
i have comfort in everything i do.
no worries, no stress
security everywhere i go.
guidance down the path of success.

a promise of life.

i know i have someone who loves me. i know i have someone who cares. i know i have someone who will always be there. and for that i have happiness, i have all the joy you can imagine. my heart is full now that i have Jesus :)

if you do not know this Jesus, i pray that one day you may. for there is nothing else in the world that can fill that empty whole in your heart like his love

blessings upon you my friend!

It's changed my life for the better. I can relate to people a lot better. I've also found my love for others has grown immensely. I have had a dramatic change in my life since becoming a christian. For me all the better. It was not an instantaneous change but one that has grown and is still growing. I treat people better and found that I look at them differently. Through the eye's of love. It's hard to find fault with others when you really learn to love them. Knowing we all fall short of the glory of God. Thank you for asking and giving me time to share.

Becoming an atheist improved my life, I gained more confidence as a person, in my actions, in my intelligence, it changed the way I interact with people (as I now do so in a much more thought out and moral fashion), it gave me a path and direction in life that I never really had before.

Jesus Christ delivered me from drunkenness (and I was hopeless). He has given me peace beyond understanding. He has been my best friend. He protects me in ways that are amazing. He gives me courage that I didn't have before I was a Christian...indeed He has made all things new. He gives me joy and love. He is amazing. I would not trade Him for any amount of money, or job, or person. I would die for Him. He is everything to me. May you all reading this meet Him...He will be the love of your life, as He is for all of us who know Him and follow Him. ( He also restored everything the enemy robbed from me.)

Never became a christian.
But blindly mastering our creator's universal gifts of life that was created as a two-way communication system in planet of apes.
Trace it back to the so-called book called the Holy Bible in planet of apes.
We need three parts of our creator's universal gifts of life for the creation of living human kind into mankind of intelligent design in planet of apes.
How living human kind was created like a three in one instant coffee in planet of apes.
Some with coffee and sugar without creamer.
Some with coffee with creamer witout sugar.
Some is just an empty satchet that came off form the faulty production lines in planet of apes.
That was how the mess was created in the creation of living human kind into makind with loss of the missing x-files in planet of apes.

It has caused me to think about someone other than myself. Because of my religious faith, I am led to engage in charitable acts. It has also helped me to see other people (even difficult people, or those normally rejected by society) as my brothers and sisters. Also, it's the great equalizer. When I go to church, I see wealthy people, middle class people, and the very poor all sitting together, despite class, race, disability, or other barriers, united in their love for God.

The Shameless Woman is like a dog
"A shameless woman shall be counted as a dog; but she that is shamefaced will fear the Lord." (Eccles.26:25)
"Give me any plague, but the plague of the heart: and any wickedness, but the wickedness of a woman." (Eccles. 25:13)
"Of the woman came the beginning of sin, and through her we all die." (Eccles. 25:22)

"If she go not as thou wouldest have her, cut her off from thy flesh, and give her a bill of divorce, and let her go." (Eccles. 25: 26)
"The whoredom of a woman may be known in her haughty looks and eyelids. If thy daughter be shameless, keep her in straitly, lest she abuse herself through overmuch liberty." (Eccles. 26:9-10)
"A silent and loving woman is a gift of the Lord: and there is nothing so much worth as a mind well instructed. A shamefaced and faithful woman is a double grace, and her continent mind cannot be valued." (Eccles. 26:14-15)
