we can see atoms with REALLY powerful microscopes that cost a fortune. it is no theory, because with these atoms scientists have managed to create an Anti-Matter Reaction. Just like an atom bomb. In a nuclear power plant, they mix chemicals to split the atoms.

v can use compound microscope but it is difficult to seperate only one atom frm an element...most of time its presence is checked by using photoelectric emissions
