I just recently went to Sears and got my rear brake calibers(wheel cylinders) replaced. The guy checked my full brake system and said everything was good with the car. I have a 91 Chevy beretta, I have been hear this knocking sound at the right rear side in the back of the car, it isnt anything in the trunk, I screwed the jack and spare tire down good and the trunk is empty, it sounds like something in the trunk or on the rear right wheel knocking, my dad said it might be the shocks or the springs that are loose or need replacing, it also sounds as if something is loose. It only knocks when I accelerate but doesnt when the car is stopped. The guy at sears also raised the car and looked under it and he said if it was the shocks they would be leaking, and the car is sitting high up in the back so it dont seem to be the shocks, the mechanic also said they look brand new(the shocks) Can it be something loose, or what can it be?
