Should I Copyright, or is the idea too vague? or can I just copyright my own version? or is there something else I should do, like get a patent or what? (befpre I start trying to market it) thanks for any help!

You cannot copyright an idea, only the final format the idea takes. Visit the Copyright office official site.

You can't copyright the concept of a word search about hotels but you can copyright a specific one, if it's original.

you need only copyright the book itself
