Fiona's last album debuted at #7 in October of 2005, she toured last year- by herself, and opening for Coldplay.
She's amazing _ I saw her live three times last year- unbelievably talented woman.
She'll be around for a long time.

Apple recorded a cover of "Sally's Song" for the special edition release of the soundtrack, released in 2006, for the Tim Burton-produced film The Nightmare Before Christmas. In May 2006 Apple paid tribute to Elvis Costello on VH1's Decades Rock Live by performing Costello's hit "I Want You";[5] her version was subsequently released as a digital single.

She went a little crazy at an awards show - you know, I hate the man and corporations and stuff - so she lost her mainstream record deal but shes still around. She has a pretty loyal fanbase and released a record last year after they protested Sony.

fiona apple is a still well known in the indie scene ...she still tours and has put out a few albums. her last album (extraordinary machine) came out in 2005.

Yeah, I love her! The last album I heard from her was about 2 years ago, and you hardly hear her songs anymore!

that's so humorous, I only began re-listening to "whilst the pawn..." a pair of week in the past. i admire that album. And "Tidal", too. i wish she's nonetheless writing, i might choose to hearken to extra from her. Goodnight hon.
