i know they're "suppose" to clean the sheets and stuff, but i always heard to bring your own blankets and sheets to a hotel...there's always going to be those employees at all jobs who slack off and don't really care about doing things right

If you moved to a new room the bed linen should have been fresh. I hope you didn't sleep on sheets that had already been slept on by strangers. Hotels have housekeepers on duty 24/7. Someone should have been called to fill your request. If you get no satisfaction from the general manager, I would report this to the health department in the city you were in.

i used to work in a hotel, and we changed the sheets everyday, if someone checked out...if u were there for a couple days, then we did it every other day, unless there was a request, and if there was no matter what time u requested it, i would have to change it.....if it was past the time that housekeeping was there( 4pm) then the person that was working front desk would lock the office up and go change the sheets, or towels, or whatever was needed. if the request was made between 12am and 8am, for some one that checked in that day ( they would have everything clean when they checked in) they would have to wait untill morn, for the saftety of the front desk person if there was only one. ( there are crazy ppl out there)....health code, im not sure, but i would go above that persons head, and ask to speak to a main manager, or a supervior ( sorry my spelling sucks) or even an owner. you should be mad, i would be

I would go above the manager's head. Call the hotel's customer service line, and make sure to name names if you've got them. Tell them in detail what happened, and explain that cleanliness, or the lack thereof, will make or break that hotel's reputation. Tell them that you will be calling the local news in that area and filing a complaint with the health department, licensing board, etc. I personally would be infuriated if I had to sleep on dirty sheets in a hotel... I know that certain things are more likely to happen when i'm in a hotel with my dh if you know what I mean ;) This is unacceptable on the part of the hotel!!!!
Also, I would contest the charges on your card (most hotels require a credit card upon checkin, so I'm guessing you used one) if you don't get a HUGE apology and a refund within 2 weeks.

there's a greater expectation at a B&B, or optimistic. At a hotel, i think of leaving the placement neat and tidy is a courteous element to do. It takes purely a jiffy and likewise makes straightforward experience ~ you're much less probably to leave something in the back of in case you tidy up in the past going! At a B&B, the proprietors are extra straight away in touch, so this is advantageous to be slightly extra considerate. regardless of the reality that, you're finding out to purchase the provider to boot using fact the room, so doing the whole job of the purifier isn't probably mandatory. Cheers :-)

Let it go. The effort it will take to correct it, will not be satisfactory and you will still be unhappy. Just tell everyone you know about it. Believe me, word does travel fast.
