I'm looking to buy a Beetle from Carmax, and the color I want has 35000 miles on it. The other color is a little cheaper and has 27000 miles, but I don't care for the color. If I payed a little more for the 35000 miles, would it be worth it?

I want her back, she broke up with me around 5 months ago, we have a very affectionate relationship at the moment, where we always hug and she always kisses me on the cheek and says that I'm beautiful and all that stuff.

Do you think that if i continue this type of relationship they chances of us getting back together are more likely?

Ok, so I have been having some trouble with my neighbors and their dogs and my dogs. Their dogs bark at my dogs, which ofcourse causes my dogs to bark back. The neighbors have late parties in their back yards (lots of screaming and yelling) which causes my dogs to bark. The fence between my house and their house is on my side of the property line and was pretty rotten when I moved in, the fence is being destroyed by both sets of dogs. I am repairing it little by little as budget allows, but today, the two sets of dogs collectively pulled two planks out of the fence. My boyfriend saw it happen and went out and directly nailed up two new planks. Our dogs stayed in our yard the whole time. But, the neighbors called the cops and said that both of my dogs got in their yard and one dog tried to bite their son. I know that this did not happen, but the cops don't believe me and I am being fined for destruction of private property (even though the fence is in MY yard), and public nuscence.

Why is our society based on alcohol? Consider, for instance, ceremonies such as weddings, when it is customary to have either wine or champagne to celebrate the occasion. Also consider the stereotypical father-son sharing of a beer for the first time. And the nearly-required after-graduation party....as well as the fact that it is nearly a must to drink in high school, even though it is illegal. And then the typical bachelor party or any party for that matter is considered to be nothing if there is no alcohol present. Why is alcohol such a huge part of our society that every occasion, every celebration, every gathering of adults, requires alcohol to be present?

It's just that I am a person that believes in humor through divine irony and I can't understand why the catholic version of the christian god is so freakin serious all the time. It's as though God is some fictional father figure that hangs his head in disappointment at humanity and says that all they have to do to repent for their sins is 20 hail marys and all is forgiven.On top of all that they assume that through their supreme powers of interpretation,they have complete say so over how all other denominatios of the same faith should interpret the scriptures. i don't know about you but that sounds a little arrogant for people who by the very definition of their faith should be nothing more than humble servants to their god. As always I mean no disrespect to the faith itself, i merely see a need to question the reason of the people who practice it.
