When you have raids you are catching and deporting the illegal alien criminals. The pro-illegals don't want any of their precious people removed from this country, in spite of the fact that they don't belong here and are breaking our laws. They call raids "mean-spirited" even though the government is totally within its rights to do so.

What's nice about the raids is that it makes the illegal aliens afraid. If they are afraid enough maybe they will leave and go back to where they belong.

They are calling for an end to the raids because they are showing to be an efficient and effective tool in the war on illegal immigration.
Let I.C.E. do its job, let the Border Patrol do its job, let the Minutemen do their job, let the pro amnesty liberals whine. Buy earplugs.

Any time an action of ICE makes even one illegal alien worried about being in this country, I support it. The raids are working and that's why the pros are against them.
They have no legal right to be in this country, they shouldn't be working. They knowingly came to this nation illegally, they brought their children with them. They placed their own children at risk, not legal Americans. If they are arrested and deported then, so be it. Locate their children and deport them with their parents. No one caused this but themselves. They created the illegal action now deal with it. I would never place my child in any danger for any reason. What kind of a "better life" have you created for yourself and your children?
I support the raids totally, that is the job ICE
was created for.Arrest and deport.

The raids have the illegals running like chickens, in a storm. They are calling for the raids to end, as the raids are cutting into Mexicos money.

Because it demonstrates that immigration raids ARE having an effect on the illegals. If ICE can demonstrate that they can be effective in dealing with illegals, the pro-amnesty crowd's demands may be ignored.................

Whatever the case, U.S. citizens need to insist that our government officials support the U.S. laws that they swore to uphold. We cannot continue to have amnesties every twenty years or so. We need to resolve this issue once and for all and, in spite of the naysayers, it can be done.

In my younger years, I payed my taxes and let the government protect me from my enemies. Now I count the government as being among my enemies.....................

DON'T let them off the hook, people!. Make our officials do their jobs for a change....................

The people in this country who despise what America stands for know they can't push their agenda through the popular vote, so they try to dilute the population of people with traditional American values. They also try to get their agendas passed through activist courts like the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Fran-sicko.

The amnesty crowd is firmly implanted in this class of people.

pro amnesty people want open borders no control of immigration at all. by stopping raids the believe it will help thier cause. beware of people who make excuses for lawbreakers. that is the bottom line there is a legal and correct way to immigrate but these people do not avail themselves of it and the pro amnesty people want to cover for them.

The only coherent argument I've seen against the raids is that they are not cost-effect, given the level of disruption in the workplaces and the actual expense of the operation, relative to the number of undocumented aliens seized and processed.

Not having analyzed the numbers myself, I take no stand on whether the argument (and the math) is correct or not.

Hypocrisy exposed again. The amnesty people want the American culture to be watered down. If we let them, America will vanish in a few decades.

I don't want to go back to La Punta Mexico. All my friends laugh at my little canoli. No raids means I can stay and chase the gringo women!
