No 'cause according to Falwell global warming is just a secular humanist plot against the righteous whose right it is to use and use and abuse the Earth till after the End Times, when it'll all be made perfect again.

We're partly in this position because of the belief by Christians that we don't have to worry about preserving the earth, or conserving resources because "Jesus is coming soon to call home the righteous." It's also because the energy companies can only see as far ahead as their next stockholder's meeting, and their f*****g bottom line.
Ronald Reagan and the right wing got us started on this by telling us buying gas-guzzling cars and wasting resources to make money are "good for America." Falwell (may he rot) and his ilk are just co-conspirators in our eventual ruination, by using Jesus to help make people toe the Republican line.

Falwell has nothing to do with it that I know of. It is the environmentalist who are worried because the earth has warmed 1 degree. No extinction that I can see of.

I don't know what Falwell said.
I believe in God and I haven't read anywhere in any Scripture that God said that He would make man extinct.

Gen 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Anybody who says global warming will completely change our environment is wrong.
Falwell is wrong!

I don't think very much of ANYTHING the UN has to say about any topic. The most corrupt and ill guided organization on the planet deserves no respect at all.

I think its baloney. Greenland is increasing in ice mass. The artic circle is having more icebergs than ever from them becoming so heavy they break up. The Midwest and northeastern US is up to its eyeballs in snow.
