We are thinking of taking our 3 family to visit there and want to know the best spots and why. Would really like recommendation for a hotel by the beach too, if you have that info it would save a lot of time for us,,, Thanks to all who read or answer this. Zilla Out.

You did not mention if you have children, but if so, we LOVED Cannon Beach, where we stayed at The Ocean Lodge. Request a ground floor room and your sliding door will lead out onto the beach, where, depending on the season, you may sea all kinds of sea animals. If you are looking for romance, go with The Stephanie Inn. Cannon Beach is laid back and friendly, and easily walkable. We combined this trip with Portland and Seattle, by car, spending a long weekend at the beach.
