I'm looking to buy a Beetle from Carmax, and the color I want has 35000 miles on it. The other color is a little cheaper and has 27000 miles, but I don't care for the color. If I payed a little more for the 35000 miles, would it be worth it?

The mileage between your two choices are so minimal that I would certainly go with the color of choice. Don't even consider buying a car that you don't really like.

Kind of like buying a Yugo because it is cheaper vs buying a Mustang. Does it really matter how much money you saved if you hate the thing?

No, it's not a big enough difference to matter much, unless the car was abused by its former owner, which is a pretty small possibility. Get what you like, you have to live with this car. Now that you know what color and car you want, look around a little bit to see if you can find a better deal.

Get the one with 35000 miles - So then you don't have to do the 30,000 miles maintance - but well, it's all depends on the previous owner of the vehicle.

The millage difference is not great, I would let other factors like the overall appearance (you can tell if a car has been well maintained) help me make the decision. Colors can always be changed.
