I live in the Metro Detroit area now. All of the jobs in this state are leaving and so am I. I don't have any relatives here so no real ties to keep me in this state. I have lots of relatives in Baltimore, plus my best friend and her son live their. It is also only 4 hours from my home state of New York. Its a win win situation for me.
What are the benefits of Baltimore over Detroit? How much money should I save up? When should I start applying for jobs? What areas should I live in to avoid hood life? Any serious advice would be appreciated!

iam a student of 16. i often get pocket money from my parents, at least 4-5 pounds a week, just at random. the problem is that i like to spend it off on something. i can't resist but get into a shop and buy something out of any amount i have. i want now to seriously save up for an occasion so that i can get something valuable and big at the end. how to start saving and get rid of my ''spending off' habit...please help..

My dog is 1 yr old, we've had her for 3 months now. She is a german shepard mix, and listens...... relatively well. *it's getting better* We're just having a hard time breaking her of the habit of jumping on people as they come in the house. We've been trying redirection, where you tell her to lay down as you answer the door, and if she runs to the person you stand in front of that person coming in, and redirect the dog to go lay down, and keep redirecting her until she does, then she gets a treat. This whole process with her takes about --- ooo --- 10 minutes. Does anyone else have any other ideas or something that worked for them?

Owing to my USA visa expiration soon( 06/30/2007), if I have to go back my country in November( in this time, I will own a new DS-2019), I will apply the new USA visa in my country.
But I think I will spend much time applying it. I don't like that.
Therefore, I want to inquire---
Could I bring my new DS-2019 to apply the new USA visa in the US?
If it's ok, which institution will I go?

I just recently got a tattoo of a butterfly on my left hip. Now I want another tattoo, I was thinking about getting one of either of rose or some cherrys on my right breast. I was talking to some friends and some of them are saying not to do it because it will take away from the 'beauty of the breast' (if you want to call it that, lol.) Anyway, this is something I want to really get some other peoples opinions on. I normally don't care what people think and just do what I want, but I really do want others input. Thanks a bunch!!

when it comes to other's people children. They always wanna call someone if the parents spank t hem or do something to discipline them. Why don't they mind their business and get on with there pathetic lives if they even have one thats probabley the reason why they get into the others people's business. I mean i have a neighbor who make his 12 year old sleep out in the treehouse with a sheet and pillow i do not intervene because that is none of my business i know i did the right choice so why dont other people do the right choice and mind their own business!
