I personally don't think you should get one on your chest. If you want a cute rose or cherries then maybe on the back of your neck, ankle, underside of wrist, or even your right hip.
I def think you should do what you want but on your breast as you get older that is one area that will most definitely change with age, childbirth, etc... Def. consider your options.
Good Luck...

Don't get the tattoo on your breast, I think your friends are right. I also would reconsider getting the cherrys. A little trashy don't you think? Make sure the tattoos you get really mean something to you, the meaning of which won't fade with time. When your 70 years old those cherrys are going to seem pretty stupid...but it's your life!

i have tattoos and i love tattoos but i will say that in my opinion a tattoo on the breast is the worst tattoo placement for a woman. sure it may look okay now when you're young but gravity does take effect and it will go south. to me it just looks trashy.
however i don't think chest tattoos are trashy (kept well above the cleavage) but i would never have one. i know that one day i will be older and i will have a family and i KNOW that i will be judged on any visible tattoos i may have and it's just not something i want to have to deal with. do what you want but do think about the future when your body isn't what it is today.

This is just me but I always think that tattoos randomly placed over the body looks strange. I personally like when 1 tatto is incoportated with another, into another etc.
You could expand your butterfly tattoo upwards toward your breast using a branch of cherry blossoms or a vine of roses....gradually adding more butterflies, flowers etc. Just a thought.

I have a tattoo on my left breast. It is low enough that I can show some cleavage without it showing. If I want it to show, I just wear something lower.
If you are in a business environment that frowns on tattoos, it is likely they frown on cleavage too so some of these comments have no merit.
My breasts are old like me (although I am not 60) and my tattoo is fabulous! In fact, it is probably my best one as far as maintaining its quality. Pick something you will really like to see all the time for a LONG time.

I have 10 tattoos, and to be honest with you I wish I never got any of them. I have such a hard time covering them up. I work in a business environment and it is so hard to look Professional with tattoos, nobody want s to take you seriously. Hell, they even tend to complain about them. This is something that you need to decide, it is your body. But I do suggest if you get anymore be sure you can hide it in any kind of weather.

OMG! I have a small tattoo of a butterfly on my right boob, I love it, with a swim suit on it looks great, it doesn't take away the beauty. If anything, with a tan, it highlights the area! I say go for it, if thats what you want, do it!

get something unique that you like. personally, i'd avoid a "california" license plate (on the lower back) way too trendy. i have 11 tats, just turned 50, and am getting as many more as i want. i rarely ever listen to what anyone else thinks i should do...i weigh my own options and figure out for myself how i'll feel about my decisions in the future...i'm the one who has to live with my decisions, not my friends. i don't regret any of my tattoos or piercings.

Although "Beauty of the Breast" sounds a bit hokey, I would agree... that is a very beautiful part of a woman and a tattoo there could take away from them. Choose another location. Back, ankle, shoulder blade...etc.

I think it depends on your breast size, I have small breast so a tattoo will take up a lot of space. If you have nice breast and it will look good, go for it.
