Maybe.
B-vitamins can help your cycle and your fertility if you are B-vitamin deficient. Sadly, many women are even if they are otherwise well nourished. B vits are better if taken in a B-complex b/c they all work together.
The only way to be sure you would need this for your cycle is to start charting your fertility signs. Your chart can tell you when you are fertile, when you are not, when you are ovulating, when to expect your next period, and when to suspect pregnancy. Your chart can also tell you if there are issues delaying conception or causing difficulty w/ carrying a pregnancy and if there are serious issues which need a doc's attention.
If you have a B-vitamin defeciency, it can manifest as a short luteal phase (the time between ovulation and the next period), delayed ovulation, and lower temps. A normal luteal phase is 12-16 days long. 10-12 days is borderline. Less than 10 days makes it exceedinly difficult to carry a pregnancy though you might be conceiving, b/c the next period comes on before the baby has had a change to implant. Therefore, you would be having early miscarriages before you even knew you were pregnant.
There are other causes of short luteal phase (such as low progesterone), but B-complex is a good place to start. If you note a short or borderline LP, you could give B-complex a try for at least a couple of cycles (taking them daily from the start of your period on). If a B vit deficiency is your problem, you might even notice good results the first cycle. SOmetime it can take a cycle or 2 to normalize ovulation and extend LP.
It's always a good idea to be careful about nutrition, especially for TTC in the future. OUr nutritional status can profoundly affect our fertility and the health of our future babies. Check out Nutrition, Cycles and Fertility by M. Shannon and the WestonAPrice.org website.
Some good sources for charting your fertility signs: Fertilityfriend.com (free software as well as a pay-for version and on-line charting turorial); ovusoft.com (discussion boards for many fertility related issues, much info on fertility after the pill, and a very good software for purchase).
