You air bag will not function properly. It may not go off in a collision or it could go off while you are driving. Go and get it scanned. It's probably the clock spring needs replacing.

SRS means Safety Restraint System (air bags) The body control module checks the resistance on each SRS system when the key is turned on if it is not within specs it will turn the light on. When the light is on it will disable the air bags in event of a crash. I would get it to your local dealer to be checked ASAP.

SRC is a OBDII requirement for air bags, seat belt teninsioner any saftey restraint, take it to a dealership and they will put a scanner on the car to tell you what is exactly wrong
