Proudly showing off his new apartment to a friend late one night, the drunk led the way to the bedroom, where there was a big brass gong.

"What's that brass gong for?" asked the friend.

"It's not a gong. It's a talking clock," the drunk replied.

"A talking clock? How's it work?"

"Watch this," said the drunk. He took a hammer, gave the gong an ear-shattering pound and waited............

Someone on the other side of the wall screamed: "Hey, you jerk. It's 3:00 in the morning!"

I earn good money, am quite ambitious and did well at uni. My boyfriend also did well at uni, but he did art. He is 7 yars older than me, I am only 23.
I pay for eveything for him, shopping, cover a fair amount of his ent, train tickets, travel, holidays, food.
I am strugglin with money now and it is a massive problem.
He has no concept of mony, it does not bother him, he is not stressed by it. His parents give him money also.
He does have a job but artists virtually earn zero.
I do love him, more than anyone, ever, but I am wondering if the practical side of money means that we are doomed.
I have lost a lot of confidence I think, I am always a stresshead about money nowadays and it's not a cool look for me. I have increasingly become paranoid about his ex-girlfriends and how they seemed more care-free and I just seem like a nag about money :-(

It's ust that I don;t find the meaning of life, it;s just that my life is boring
I;m 14 this year and I really feel like commiting suicide, I led a routine life everyday
the six things I do from monday to friday
wake up
go to school
go home
tuition
have dinner
sleep

It's too routine
where can I find my excitement in life
If I sommit suicide, I know I will leave the rest sad, I know I;m stressed out, I know you think that I;m crazy, I;m stressed out!
all I can think since 5 hours ago was CO2+H2O--->C6H12O6+O2
I;m stress, I know I'm crazy, life is too boering, I have a house, my clothes are well, I even have sufficient food, but I think this life is too boring for me I need something new, please help me!

OK, look...I DO BELIEVE that we should be enviornmentally consious--like recycling, using paper bags, laundering in cold water, turning off unused lights, walk or ride public transportation, etc...basic COMMON SENSE and all of which I do. But this 'carbon offset' jazz has become almost laughable. It is nothing more than "penance" for kooks like Al Gore who waste 10 times the energy a regular citizen wastes--then justify it by planting some trees or installing solar panels at their mansions.

Give me a break. I am so tired of hearing this rediculous buzzword that is nothing more than some elitist envoirnmentalists' way of shifting a burden onto common folks so they can "buy" their way out of changing their own lifestyles. It is totally hypocritical and I highly question its accuracy. Comments?

After a lot of research I learned that the general recommended dose of folic acid is between 400-800 mcg daily.many know websites also mentioned that a woman who is planning to get pregnant should take 5 mg daily (5000 mcg) there are no known effects or side effects of folic acid. is it also ok to be taking 5 mg during pregnancy? anyone who has kids please tell me if u took folic acid and what dosage
