We took our 4 children and our puppy for a walk on Hampsted Heath today and every few steps we came across used durex,how can people just leave these things lying around and how do we explain to the kids why we can't go there anymore as it's a great place for dog walking?

When the roman empire was at the height of its power the majority of roman citizens were literate, cities were well planned, and all over things worked out alright, but when it collapsed it took all of that down with it and the only literate people were nobles and church clergy, cobbled roads made way for dirt roads again and such, why did this happen?

I have been with this woman for 11 months and we have a 2 month old. I have never been happier but I believe it is due to my daughter who I love more than life itself. I have never been one to tolerate drama and a less than positive attitude toward life and I find myself now in uncharted waters. My girlfriend at first was everything that I ever wanted and we were so much in love. After we found out about our pregnancy, she turned moody, negative, and not as sharp, humorous, loving, and fun as what she once was. I blamed it on the pregnancy and did something that I've never done with a woman, tolerated her dramtic behavior. Things are continuing to go downhill and all I can think about is our daughter. I fear losing her and not being a constant part of her life so I continue to take the abuse my girlfriend throws at me. As it appears that things aren't going to improve, i'm torn between my daughter and the fairy tale life I had invissioned for myself. Should I adapt or move on?

We've sent men to the moon, (though the conspiracy theorists may argue with that) we've sent remote probes to Mars, we've produced robots to make cars, and a million other technological marvels, but still we don't seem to be able to produce a supermarket trolley that you don't have to wrestle with to keep it going in the direction that's required.

What *is* the problem, guys?

I have a small dog and he lives inside, he barks whenever we leave him alone, when one of us goes outside. He goes nuts if he gets near another dog! Is this bad, hes fairly new to the home, we got him in july of 2006. He's 6 years old.

I need either a spice model, or a link to a website containing the internal circuitry (so I can make my own spice model) for a Schmitt NAND (4093, though the 74xx series equivalent would be OK too). Its not on the datasheet as I have already tried that.

Hello all,

I'm currently trying to build up my body mass as well as get overall health restored so I've been eating right, exercising and working out daily and taking multivitamins but a few nights ago I purchased an Omega 3 Fish Oil supplement and B12 supplement, each in capsule forms. Is it bad to take the B12 supplement capsule along with Centrum Performance Multivitamin tablets? Just don't know if there is anyh adverse effect of taking too much B12 because the Centrum has 300% daily value of B12 already and the capsule has 16,667%? I haven't taken any of the B12 capsules yet, only the Omega 3 (which I must add is a Godsend for learning, focus, and concentration).
