if I eat 500 calories a day and burn about 200 does that mean i have consumed 300 calories that day?

Assertive and to have more faith in yourself.
I think I am an average smarts guy, maybe more but here is the thing.
Some times i know I am right on something, but i still keep an open mind that there could a chance that i could be wrong. But i feel like people are taking advantage of this.
Some times what people say makes me doubt my self so much, that i think i can be wrong.
What can I do to make my self have less doubt and have more faith in my self, because i think that is holding me back from doing great things in life.

She has been doing this for @ 4 years now she is very intelligent and knows that lying is wrong but she is afraid to tell her mom the truth because she knows her mom will be mad at her. So if she has the chance to put the blame on me she does then her mother calls screaming at her dad. The Lie... she wanted to post some pics on her myspace account when her mother asked her who did it she said (Step Mom's Name) did it and didn't even ask me. I could care less what the lie was about the point is, is that she lied we have explained why it is wrong but she continues to do it. I have asked her why and she basically has said because she knows she can say I am sorry and I will forgive her vs. her mother screaming at her and grounding her for something she wanted. What would be a good discipline action that we can take so she knows that lying is not acceptable and so that she will hopefully not do it again?

Hi all I was hoping you could give me some advice.

I made the brave choice back in September to go very dark brown for the winter as opposed to the full set of light brown highlights i had during the summer months. However now i feel is the right time to go back to my errr "roots" (excuse the pun) by having light brown hair again. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to acheive such a harsh contrast with the possibility of blonde highlights to complement the look? At the moment my hair is quite dark brown despite trying the shampoo trick whereby you apply shampoo to dry hair for 30mins which has been successful to a point of stripping some of the colour.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!* Thanks

I have this friend I used to work with. We've known eachother for years and I've had feelings for him for a VERY long time. We fight a lot... never really got along well... argue about stupid things. But, despite our problems, I've always found him to be really sweet and charming. I thought that, once we didn't work together anymore, we also wouldn't talk. But he won't let that happen. He still IMs me and comments on my pictures online saying I'm cute and such (he's a big flirt). We will go WEEKS without talking and I'll start to forget just how much I love him. But then we'll talk again and it all comes back. He was recently there for me when I really really needed someone and it made me realize that there is no one more perfect for me than him and I don't think I'll ever get over this... but there's a problem- he HAS A GIRLFRIEND (recent development) and has no idea that I feel this way about him... and I can't tell him. I just need to know how to get over him without cutting him out
